Tesla Roadster Final Edition: The bucket list

Among the electric sports car is the Tesla Roadster as a true pioneer. Now the final edition with the following extended features and improved features, before the electric sports sedan Tesla model S in mid-2012 replacing the sleek roadster. The “final edition” of the Roadster however will be available only in Europe, Asia and Australia.

Other accents on the outside, meanwhile set new finishes such as Cosmic Black, Galaxy Gray & Magma Orange.


Very important for an electric sports car are the ways to recharge the batteries. In this discipline Tesla thought of his customers, the mobile terminal “tesla IEC Type 2″ allows a recharging of type 2 stations and outlets for the latest European standards.

Impressive still, the performance figures are the built since 2008 Tesla that is based on the Lotus Elise. A DC motor including input gear produced from nothing when Tesla Roadster Sport 400 Nm of torque (the exact value of the current BMW M3), 292 hp and a smooth acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. The rich propulsion ends with an electronically limited 201 km/h. The range per charge is around 340 kilometers.


Over 2,100 Roadster owners in at least 31 countries so far sailed more than 29 million miles. Tesla’s goal is to accelerate the global transition to electric mobility with a complete range of increasingly affordable electric cars. The company is headquartered in Palo Alto and designs and manufactures electric vehicles and parts for electric drives for partner companies such as Toyota and Daimler.
