The future has begun: Toyota linked the people with its car. The new plug-in hybrid concept called NS4 delivers a first indication of future mobility concepts. The task of the Toyota engineers was to develop a new mid-size vehicle that can celebrate its global launch in 2015 and offers the perfect addition to networking with a new hybrid system with shorter charging time. Toyota celebrates its premiere NS4 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit (01/09/2012 – 01/22/2012).

The result was a concept car with a separate plug-in hybrid system, which differs from the Prius family and to meet the mobility needs of the future. The plug-in hybrid system of the NS4 smaller and lighter than previous solutions is efficient and has better acceleration.
