Toyota Supra: now becomes a mythical hybrid sport
A new Toyota Supra is in the plans of the Japanese manufacturer. After several years where big sporting group were reserved for Lexus, becomes a mythical successor prototype model based on the FT-HS that was presented at the Detroit Motor Show in 2007.
Becomes the Toyota Supra, or at least that seems the intention of the Japanese manufacturer. After the demise of market models as the legendary Celica, the MR-2 or the previous-generation Supra, the group’s plans Toyota on sports cars had focused on its luxury brand Lexus, with models such as the LFA and the new Toyota GT-86. However, at the Detroit Motor Show 2007, Toyota introduced the prototype FT-HS , a hybrid sport that did not go to production plans because of the financial crisis that began in 2008.
