The E-RA has set up a speed of 252.09 km/h world record. It is the highest ever measured speed of electric cars on an ice surface.
The measurement took place on 17 March 2012 on the frozen lake in Finland Ukonjarvi place. The 449 hp sports car was the necessary grip through-tipped spikes Nokian “Hakkapeliitta 7″ winter tires 225/40 R18. At the wheel of the car sat Janne Laitinen, the test driver of the Finnish Pneuherstellers.
